Building regulations may apply to your bathroom project if:

  • You are creating a new bathroom or en-suite where one did not previously exist
  • You are making structural alterations such as removing a wall
  • New drainage is being installed or existing drainage is being significantly altered
  • Electrical work is being carried out (covered under Part P of the Building Regulations)
  • An unvented hot water cylinder is being installed (covered under Part G)
